Tobias Oriwol

Vice President, Real Estate

Over the course of his career, Tobias has played a key role in the acquisition and management of roughly $3.5B of multifamily development sites, stabilized assets, and a ground-breaking multi-family development and operating platform.

Prior to joining Forum, Tobias was a Director of Development at Brookfield Properties, the real estate arm of Brookfield Asset Management, a global alternative asset manager. Before joining Brookfield, Tobias spent four years at Monadnock Development, one of New York City’s largest and most innovative affordable housing developers. There he led the development of New York City’s first micro unit residential building, constructed with locally pre-fabricated apartment modules.

Tobias holds a BA from Stanford University and a Master’s Degree in Urban Planning from Harvard University. Tobias competed for Canada, swimming in both the 2008 and 2012 Summer Olympic Games, and brings this same drive and dedication to his work at Forum.

Tobias enjoys spending weekends cycling, swimming, and enjoying the outdoors with his family.
