Each suite comes fully furnished and includes wireless internet and gas. Both buildings feature at-grade retail and a 27,000-sf amenity/student life package with third-party restaurants and services, resort-style fitness facilities, business centres, bike community centre, bike lanes, and 24-7 access to on-site management. The Quad also features private landscaped courtyards, large communal areas on every floor, and pedestrian-friendly walkways to the academic core.
York University is leasing the site to Forum-Campus Suites (FCS) for an initial term of 70 years, with a 35-year extension at FCS’ discretion.
The Quad project was awarded Silver for Service Delivery in the Canadian Council for Public-Private Partnerships’ 2018 National Awards for Innovation and Excellence in P3s.
