Forum observes a do-no-harm investment philosophy and actively seeks out opportunities to make a positive impact.

We actively seek opportunities to achieve not only great financial returns, but significant social ones, too. Forum works diligently with the non-profit organizations it supports to develop and accurately measure impact.

Our commitment to social responsibility is one of our defining characteristics. At the very minimum, we want each of our investments to be socially responsible, and do not pursue opportunities that do not fit this mandate.

A case study

Whenever possible, we look to make investments that elicit measurable, material positive impact to people and communities.

Progressive philanthropy is in Forum’s DNA. Creating informed, long-lasting investments in communities ensures meaningful and sustained progress — the greatest possible return.

One example we’re particularly proud of is our partnership with WE Charity. In 2015, Forum donated $500,000 to develop water, healthcare and education infrastructure in the rural Kenyan village of Kipasan. The village is home to 1,600 residents, including 1,000+ children under 18.

In 2016, Forum led efforts to donate another $500,000, this time focusing on the village of Melelo. In 2017, we sent a team of employees to the Kenya Masai Mara region to engage with the communities, witness the progress, and contribute to community building efforts.

Charities we support

In addition to helping charities both close to home and far away, our team regularly responds to traumatic events through in-house fundraisers that are 100% matched by the firm.
