Forum Equity Partners entered into a Public Private Partnership with the City of Ottawa to design-build-lease and operate a $22 million, 100,000 square foot facility which now serves as the headquarters for the Ottawa Paramedic Services. Construction began in the late fall of 2004. The building was delivered on time and on budget in December 2005. Aecon Buildings served as the Design-Build contractor, and Tramell Crow is responsible for Facilities Management.
The state of the art facility is located at 2465 Don Reid Drive in Ottawa and consists of a 100,000 square foot building which is used for administration and providing paramedic services. The OPS Headquarters Building is LEEDS certified and was the first municipal property in Ottawa to obtain this distinction.
