| Forum was a team member of the Host Kilmer Services Centres (HKSC) consortium that in April 2010 was successfully awarded a Design, Build, Finance, Maintain, Operate contract by Infrastructure Ontario, on behalf of the Ontario Ministry of Transportation, to redevelop the Province’s portfolio of food and fuel service centres alongside Highways 400 and 401.
Under a 50 year term agreement with the Province of Ontario, HKSC is responsible for the operation, maintenance and lifecycle renewal of 23 highway service centres.
Once completed, the network of centres is expected to generate sales revenue to HKSC of approximately $100 million annually, or $9 billion over the 50-year term of the agreement. The infrastructure cost of redevelopment-design and construction of the services centres will be in excess of $300 million.
